Those type of shots are pretty difficult. I have done a couple of them, and shooting at a super wide-angle on full frame with lots of verticals in the near-ground it's pretty hard to keep everything...

It's not that they won't work correctly, they won't work AT ALL.

The lens mount for EF-S is different than the EF mount. In that you physically cannot mount an EF-S lens on a full frame camera...

I'm going to agree with everyone else, I think both photos are pretty sub-par quality, but JMF's picture has the guy throwing a lever which adds a level of interest to me versus some dudes standing...

Not a fan, or an example of how a shot should get in. The light post, the wires, not terribly sharp, kind of tight, has all the trappings of a grab shot in poor light.

I like most of Tom's photos, especially 40 year...

I like most of Tom's photos, especially 40 year old Milwaukee Road stuff, but i'm not sure a pic from the late 90's with those kind of flaws should afford the same leeway...
