Some perspective needed on perspective

This picture (1403601) has been rejected twice for being unlevel. It was shot on a wide angle lens (16mm on APS-C) hence the inward curving lines at he edges. This distortion cannot - as far as I am...

But thanks for confirming that I was not actually going...

The contrast conundrum

This was rejected for the reason of "too much or too little contrast". Normally I don't fight these things but I think in this case the rejection strikes me more as a bureaucratic decision than...

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I agree. I think it's a good picture and aside from warming it up a little, I won't change it.

Is this really so bad?

Must be my 20th rejection in a row from RP. Is this photo really that dull? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the advice, all good. I was concerned about the reddish cast - you can really see it in the clouds - so I de-saturated the image a bit, which gave quite a nice effect although...

Underexposed?

Hi there,

New to RP (had 2 photos selected of 12 or so attempts thus far). I realise the low-light, low angle shot isn't exactly the winning ticket on RP but my latest rejection is for...
