I think this shot looks a lot more promising, but I'd still try and brighten it up a bit more before submitting.

Agreed, what went from a bit of looking at maps now becomes a significant investment in sleuthing to determine where a shot was taken. Meaning RP loses a lot of its usefulness in planning trips, etc....

I have to assume that's the wrong rejection. Nothing cloudy about it...at worst some lightly filtered sun, but enough that it's still a pretty "sunny" shot in my opinion.
