We used to go through Chadbourne on the way down...
We used to go through Chadbourne on the way down & back, remember seeing all the locos over on the dead line. The only part of the line we see now is along 701 starting at Loris, depends on traffic...

Usually cut the air supply to shut it down, can cut off the fuel supply to if needed. Once they run on their own oil, it's hard to shut them down.
