Great thing about shooting transit is that you get unlimited retakes. Mess up the shot? No matter. Try again in 5 minutes.

Yeah I got that. Usually I try to do something along those lines -- get a PLS or some interesting trackwork into the shot. That said, I find the streaks on a curve more interesting than those you get...

Thanks for all your comments! Point taken on boring backdrop — I usually shoot the other direction towards a bridge of PLSs but tried to do something different this time. Guess signal porn helps lol....

I was really shooting the bridge in those, and if I moved back at all, the platform end wall would have come into the picture.

Oh well. Such is photography :)

So I took your suggestions, and I tried submitting one with less up angle, and a shorter exposure. It also got rejected, but here's the interesting part, for being too dark!...
