3rd was my favorite too.

The building stands out in the first two because of how well it is lit from across the street by the cop shop.

yeah I'm running filterless, I have a 35-70 f3.5-4.5 I want to try since it has fewer glass elements, I know the 24-105/4 has a LOT of glass in it.

2 min exposure + double flash + reflective lettering on diesel =

I think you know where this is going.

Basically a long exposure of an oncoming train, but as it gets close fire the flash so the reflective lettering remains frozen.

at f22, a 540ez and 550ex...

I set it in Av mode if it's moving and let the camera figure it out, or if it's not moving, manual mode. Track speeds are high here so if you're in manual mode you gotta know your gear and be quick...
