I see Elements for at Costco for around $40-$50 when it goes on sale. You could try finding an older version on eBay for a ton less money. Older versions that cost a fraction of the current version...

I think sometimes high sun is used...

I think sometimes high sun is used interchangeably with backlit sometimes. I got high sun on one last week, and the shot was taken at 5:51 PM.
