I think you'll be much happier with the results you get from the 70-200. The 35-350 is just too much of a spread for crisp optics. Your 75-300 will get you close to 350mm if you need...

Is the original large enough to attempt a re-crop? Take the phone pole off the left hand side and the rails off the bottom should give you a proportion that would be correct when resized.

Canon 20D has Arrived!

I've had my 20D for about 2 weeks. I really like this camera. Its a noticeable improvement over the 10D. I'm not saying that I no longer care for the 10D, its still a good camera in its own right...

I would try to stay with the USM lens. I have owned the 75-300 USM and found it to be a nice lens. The difference is only about $30 and USM is well worth the extra money.
