For the first shot, make it a vertical. Keep the sky and cut off as much on the right until it fits the proper dimensions....

Easy fix if you have more to work with. Cut from the bottom and add sky to the top. Don't put the roof of the station against the top of the frame and show a lot of rail in the foreground.
