It's not that RailPictures doesn't accept roster shots, they're just very picky about them. I only have one on... it seems that conditions need to be nearly perfect to get one of those shots on.

In my opinion, the crossing bars are simply elements of a common grade crossing... I don't think that there is anything wrong with either of the crossing gates.
I would say get rid of the cut off...

The first thing that appealed to me this image, was the overall image quality... It does appear a bit noisy/ grainy. Honestly, at first glance, and still, I'm sensing a bit of PIQ.
