In looking at the Donnelly version that was accepted, it is leaning equally to my rejections. I think that just about all of my station interiors have that type of wide-angle distortion. As you...

As I suspected, the PAQ rejection is terminal:

Still, I think it is a strange rejection since it is an accurate depiction of...

If the half person was the problem I think the rejection would have been for foreground obstruction or something "fixable" (as in, "If that wasn't there it would be good"). I have basically viewed...

In taking another look at this shot, I can now agree with the PEQ. The cut off body parts surely have something to do with it, but I just looked right past them. The outside is too blown out to...

For what it's worth, I agree with most of what you all have said. But I think overexposed stuff can be worked on and should get that reason as a rejection, but the PEQ means there is nothing...

Poor Aesthetics cab shot rejection

I find this rejection a bit odd. I have a few similar cab shots that have been accepted, and I see many others that have made it in, but I can't figure out the rejection. I was thinking I might get...

I like the photo in general, but missed the train at first. I think the train is too far removed from the other elements in the photo to be considered a "rail picture", hence the PEQ rejection.

I guess my question would be to ask what it is about the rejected photo that you find compelling versus the photo that is already accepted? Perhaps if we knew that we could work on the cropping. I...

Well it got in. I think it must have been the half stop sign, 'cause that is all I changed. I left the sky pretty similar because I didn't want to cut off the poles, and I did not feel like it was...
