Thank you for your reply JRMDC. After searching through the software I found an auto contrast and it seemed to help a bit, this is before any other editing with exposure and sharpening.

I think if you put the train between the trees to the right, with some of the cemetery still showing it would be better centered and cropped. There seems to be a lot of deadspace to the left, I like...

Lately I have been getting numerous rejections for bad contrast, I think by this they mean the colors are somewhat neutral and dull, with the photo what should I do to correct it? bring out the sky...

I like this shot a lot. Maybe they are not liking the shadow cast over the boxcar from the front of the engine but, I myself is only starting to understand night photography so I guess I'll pay close...

Every now an then I have gotten rejections for "Backlit". I have always wondered what that is. Is it where the light is unbalenced or one side it lit and the other not? Thanks Eric Zak :-)
