Maybe it's just my monitor, or I need new glasses, but I see a lot of heavy grain and strange magenta and green artifacts. Very visible on the plow, the gray sky, and especially strange color...

Yes, the foreground track with the SP locos is actually climbing uphill, if the train is headed that way. By leveling the foreground, the rear of the train, seems to be on an extreme grade.
