I think the new double ended siding will hold about 30 to 35 cars.

The 1804 is really good since it was rebuilt. Good power and fast start. Really nice loco. They should get the 102 rebuilt...

There is a lot of track work going on between Summerville and Trion. They are also doing some bridge work on the north end. It looks like they've spread 30 or 40 cars of ballast in the Trion...

They pushed the time for the Cat back to 5pm. I did notice yesterday they took the HAL SD40-2 (3351) over to Albany and leave it there for HAL to pick up. It looks like normal power for this job...

Be sure to post a picture. Today the 102 is sitting in the siding at LaFayette and the 1804 is tied down on the main at Rock Spring where it will start the day tomorrow. Thank goodness it has A/C.

Thanks. I left Columbus and now I am in LaFayette, GA checking out the Chattooga and Chickamauga, another G&W property. I'll post some photos of this op when I get a chance.
