I've been posting images on RP.Net since 2003 and I have no big complaints with the screening process. You either learn to adapt or you leave as many of my friends have done that have taken this too...

As far as enlightening the OP, a quick search of the forums will provide plenty of information for and against RAW, including my own thoughts. Google it and...

I get a kick out of this response. I hear it from many people that don't understand the other advantages for keeping and using the RAW file. Although it is easier to adjust exposure and color, it...

Color Problem

I know there is probably an easy answer to this, but I'm not seeing it. Since upgrading to PS CS5, it seems the colors in my images become very saturated after uploading to RP.Net. They look fine...

Carl,

I had the 40D set up with the 70-200mm to get a close-up on the bridge with the trees for a background for the smoke. I had the 50D set up with the 24-70mm and got a wider view of the...

It looks like chromatic aberration to me. So-called ‘purple fringing’ is essentially due to lens longitudinal chromatic aberration, causing the blue or/and red channel to be slightly defocused with...

I have both the 40D and the 50D. Both are fine cameras, but I would recommend the 50D for several reasons:

1. Better LCD on the 50D. No comparison really.
2. 50D supports UDMA which allows for...
