I have one (the f/4) and agree with everyone here. The lens is fantastic, great colors and incredibly sharp. It stays on my Digital Rebel XT 90% of the time. The best lens Canon makes for the money...

The DPI setting has nothing to do with your video card. It's a setting for the display properties of your desktop. It changes the size of the icons and their text. 96 dpi is the normal setting...
