Help! From Bad to Worse!

This shot was rejected for cropping and when I re-cropped it was worse.

San Timoteo Canyon is a real challenge because the tracks run roughly east-west and the sun is from the south. Here's one of my best from there....

Thanks for the replies. I'll be shooting there again, but that much snow on Cajon Pass is rare. I liked the over all grandeur of the snowy pass. The train is a bonus.

The airshow shots are absolutely fabulous! I'm impressed with the sharpness with the teleconverter and long lens. I'm working on getting a D300 and Ive been all over trying to decide on glass....
