Yesterday, I drove my car down Depot Road, before the Waccamaw River crossing, and noticed that a lot of brush clearing had been done on the railroad right of way from that location for a number of miles on US 501 between Conway and Myrtle Beach.

However, at the Carolina Forest grade crossing, the brush cutting had not gotten that far.
Up at Cody's Camp I spent my days . . . With flatcar riders, and crosstie walkers . . .
