Ok in the rail hood, nylon windbreaker over the hood and on a tripod, does it for me, snow, rain whatever...The 300D has the most weather experience and still working fine. The 20D and 40D have shared about the same amount of duty with the 20D on it's way out for me, along with it's 70-300USM IS lense when I can find a buyer. I'll be happy with my 300D and 40D and my weather protection..
