If you had left your shutter open longer, you would have built up a bit of sky light and the shot would have had more definition. Or, you could do it on a full moon night and keep it open long enough to see detail on the ground and on Price's hill in the background. Neat idea though. Like your turntable shot, think of it as a trial run!
