First off, you're looking in the wrong place. Consider going to www.newegg.com . Really good prices and even better service.

2nd, off Newegg, consider buying an internal hard drive and putting it into an external enclosure. You end up saving money (about $20~30) or gain more space for you $150~200. Its very easy to do. If you choose this path, let me know via PM if you want and I'll give you some help.

Third, be sure to back up your photos in 2 places. I personally don't use external hard drives because I have 3 physical hard drives inside my computer and all 3 back up my photos. Either way, it is a good idea to back up your digital photos in more than one location.
