I've been to all the contiguous states and most of Canada, so I've had a good feel for what's out there. That said, the novelty of going places to shoot because they are "new" and "different" is starting to wear off. I need to concentrate on depth of coverage, not breadth.

There's a lot of fantastic and inspirational work on this site, and I'm hoping that I can focus on a few themes and techniques over the next few months. Winter is good for experimentation, especially with night photography. I know what a train looks like, and I know how to take basic photo of a train. I keep asking myself if I need more photos of trains in the woods, etc; and the answer is pretty clear. For me, my "wish list" isn't a list of places, but a need for introspection.
