Smile Sharpening help

This was rejected for being under sharpened. I have spent a fair amount of time trying to improve the "sharpness" of the image with no real luck. Sharpening is a real art. The image does not look particularly unsharp to me, the original file seems acceptably sharp, although it is not one of those images where the sharpness jumps out at you. The engines look okay to me, but the bulkhead flats do look a bit strange. I think it is the lighting more than anything. So I'm looking for opinions and help. This is not a great picture but I though it might be a useful learning experience.

Thanks in advance.
