The Indy 500 will likely be run year after year but if your favorite steam engine is running now, you'd better go see it now. There is absolutely no guarantee it will be there when you decide you're good and ready to go.
Great advice! Unfortunately, it will be a couple of years until I will be able to do that. I can't drive yet and there is no way I could ever afford a trip like that even if I could. However, in the next couple of years I will definitely go on some short trips during summers and weekends while I will still have the luxury of having long breaks.

Luckily for me, I've had very understanding parents and we have went on trips to chase steam trains a couple of times per year. If for some reason I can get my parents to go on a trip to the Grand Canyon this year, you can be sure I will be chasing the 4960!
