Good job, excellent idea.

I've noticed in my short time here, that the discussions tend to revolve around "technical" issues; i.e. "How do I fix this shot", "Why does my camera take crappy images", "What are the screeners looking for", etc. This only makes sense, since technical/hardware issues are more concretely grasped, quantified, and manipulated.

There are fewer in-depth discussion regarding aesthetics, which I find more interesting in a way, than the hardware stuff. One can argue that aesthetics is equally if not more important than nuts-n-bolts; after all, a perfectly exposed image can be utterly boring if it is not well-composed or doesn't tell a story.

I look forward to future blog entries.
