New LED monitor = underexposure

How does this look on your monitor? I've set my new one as best I could, but still not sure about it.
This reject for underexposed looks O.K to me. The snow is bright white.
Opinions on brightness and color please.

The CP red is quite dull in that frame.

Poor image quality, soft, or something...the nose of the loco looks poor.

I should have listened to my own instincts. The original plan was not to submit it at all.

So I recalibrated my monitor and started from scratch because of the image quality issues Jim mentioned (I think I kept tweaking the contrast, which killed the first attempt).

And did a b&w of the other rejected picture to get rid of the effect of the conflicting light sources.
