Harpers Ferry question

I am gonna visit DC early next week. Taking the train back to Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Looking at the MARC schedule and the Amtrak schedule, I was gonna take the MARC to Harpers Ferry so I could photograph Amtrak coming into the station and then board the Amtrak train to return to Pittsburgh. Looking at the train's schedules shows that it is doable with the MARC arriving first.

My question is:

Is the MARC train always the first into the station or does Amtrak have priority?

Nevermind. I mis-read the schedule. The MARC train 873 only goes as far as Brunswick where a bus will take you the rest of the way. Not worth the risk of missing my train back to the 'Burg.

If you are desperate for a short MARC ride or a P029 nose shot, you can ride the 873 to Rockville and get your shot there and board. Just not quite as scenic as HF.
