Default How much do I need to bump this up?

Had this one rejected for underexposure. How much do I really need to bump this up? It's an evening shot, not mid-day, so it shouldn't look like it was taken in full daytime sun.

It looks like cloud filtered lighting, so I'd say perhaps a 1 stop increase?

Although J has called my exposure credibility in question when I'm at work, so you may just disregard me

Loyd, I have called out a blunder on your part, not your overall credibility.

I can't describe a change in terms of stops as, unlike Loyd, I am a hack. But I can tell you that IMHO you also need to crop right and top. That expanse of blank sky is doing you no favors.

The sky doesn't look that dark for an "evening shot" so you may want to work with shadows or fill instead of just increasing exposure. At any rate, the light is blah and so is the composition so it may not get on.
