Default I'm Lost

This surprised me.

I have no idea where to go from here. Of course, I have no idea why this was rejected, cause this is one of the most historical pieces of railroad equipment in New England.

Hmm... The only thing that comes to mind is that you have no space at all above the headlight on top.

Also, even though it is a completely acceptable 1024x768 (4:3), there is something about the composition that makes it look square or nearly so. And yet, I would not change the crop myself. I like the shot as is, nice. I might like it a bit more if it were a bit more square, removing from the left margin, but I suspect that would make it less likely to be accepted!

BTW, your remark is truncated - perhaps it ran too long?

It's not the Flying Yankee's fault you composed the shot badly. Looks like you're just out of luck until they take the tent off.

Also, you know exactly why this shot was rejected. They told you right above teh picture. It's badly composed.

Default Bad composition

Hi,

As Mitch has said the crop it a bit close to the top of the vehicle, it would have helped had you included more at the top, even if that included the tent.

Also the top is in dark shadow, this could have been lightened in your editor, attached is my tweak of the shadow area.

I was just about to post this before I noticed your post Alan.

Like you and Mitch, it needed a little more a the top, but how about cropping this way. The sides of the tent are a tad distracting. To me this crop compliments the shape of the locomotive.

Just my 2 cents worth.

I think your crop works better, but as others have said, the original is cropped too close to the top.
