Default Post some interesting graffiti

What's the most interesting graffiti you have ever seen? For me, this is undoubtedly my pick, found right here in the local yard:

Lately I have seen a number of cars rolling through with the side completely covered in huge letters, but have no photos to share. So let me see some others!

Well, it's pretty small in the frame, but the perpetrator is faintly visible in the back of the shot (the small white blob down the tracks is the t-shirt on his back) and the chair he comfortably sat in while doing his work is in the shadow of the car.

The companion shot shows the graffiti itself; the yellow part was the fresh part, if I remember correctly.

I'm not a fan of star wars or any of that sci-fi stuff, but I did get a kick out of this one.

I don't shoot much graffiti, but there is one car I did take a picture of and another I wish I could have but it was too dark.

http://zwsplac.rrpicturearchives.net...spx?id=1069933

The funny thing about the bird car was I'd seen a picture of it before. In fact, I was discussing graffiti on railcars with a friend not 2 days before this and specifically mentioned this car to them. Then I came across it north of Las Vegas. Ironic.

When I was at the Afton Canyon, I saw the Kiss car go by just after dark. Only pic I can find of it is on TO.

Default graffiti

I caught these at a model RR show last fall. Talk about scale modeling.

Part of the "E" in "STEEL". That guy painted 5 autoracks in a row individially spelling S.T.E.E.L. out when all 5 were together.

I caught the same UAA freight last year. I also caught a freight on my way home from work with that dude from cartoon network with the yellow cape and black mask. I dont remember the characters name but hes similar to batman. Hes been on adult swim before. That as well was probably done by the UAA crew.

Okay, I'm not a supporter of tagging railroad equipment but the "STEEL" is pretty freakin' awesome. I would love to know how long that took.

It probably didnt take as long as your thinking. If one person did it then yes it would take hours. Most graffiti artists that have done whole cars usually have 3 or 4 friends with em. Then it dont take so long.

Im sure youve heard of paint rollers, you know those things you would paint the walls inside your house with. Only add a long handle that reaches way to the top and have a couple buckets of paint and ta-da. Its probably not cheap in any way, but thats how they did this one. I cant imagine how long it would take if the guys actually used spray cans.

Default Looking to complete a set.

I was looking through some of my photos and I found 2/3 of a set of graffiti painted hoppers. Has anyone seen the other one?

I have seen "Michael Jackson's Dead!!!" on a MAT64 in the Netherlands.

I have also seen "QLD Rules ... NSW Sucks" referring to the State of Origin on an EMU in Queensland.
