Default Favorite CSX Scheme

What's your favorite CSX scheme?

Mine is the "Mason-Dixon" scheme.

I like the "Mason Dixon" scheme, but I had to go with the new Dark Future...maybe because my high school colors were blue and gold...

Hmm, I thought you would have picked the yellow and gray with shield on the nose scheme they use on the St. Louis Sub.

The new Dark Future is my favorite. No special reason, it just looks better.

I really like the color combo on the new YN3 scheme. It is nice a dark so the engines dont look as dirty. I also like that deep orange/yellow nose. I just really like its clean look. At least CSX knows how to paint some locomotives because all of there expeimentals and such look nice, even the MOW orange was sort of neat on a few engines. Mabey CSX should give BNSF some pointers on how to paint new locomotives!

I voted for YN2 sans yellow lettering. That scheme was easy to shoot in cloudy weather and somewhat reminiscent of the L&N (again, staying in my backyard on this one. Besides, I have to go with a railroad whose headquarters were in Kentucky.) I don't really care much for the "Dark Future" scheme since I find it dang near impossible to shoot on a sunny or cloudy day.

I voted for YN3, though the YN2 with yellow lettering is a close 2nd because I like the stenciling around the letters.

Never cared for the grey in the scheme, and I guess I'm kind of glad they are possibly phasing it out. The early days of CSX were WAY to drab for me. I was a Chessie guy!

Default YN3 but old schemes are a close second

you have to love the MoW "Pumpkins" and the patch jobs...seeing old schemes is awesome but i voted for the YN3 looks great when the engines are clear and in sweet light

Take a look at this Road Slug.

What paint scheme is this? It looks like the "Stealth". But the nose is yellow like a YN1, but the cab and short is not dark blue

It's a stealth with the yellow applied later. From the looks of that one and a few others, it oughta be an r/b1 scheme-rust bucket1.
