Default Any hope?

I know the foreground objects rejection is pretty much a open and shut case 95% percent of the time, but is there any hope for this shot?

Probably not. I have a hunch that if it wasnt for the plant it might have gotten in, and my suggestion would be to "fix" it before submission.

Evan,

The red blooded American in me likes the incorporation of the flag. Looks cool to me. As for whether or not it'll make it in, I haven't the experience to give any guidance. Good luck though.

I like it. I find it wrong to call that "Foreground Clutter" because it takes up so little space.

Okay guys, this doesn't make sense! If his photo was rejected, than why was THIS accepted?!:
Doesn't make sense to me.

The flag is not the issue, the plant over the fuel tank and rear truck is the issue.

What on earth makes you think the two photos are even comparable?

Aside from the fact that I'm assuming "Norfolk Southern Corp" has quite a bit of latitude over the typical contributor, these two photos aren't really comparable...

Didn't even see the plant, And I found them comparable because they both had flags in from of them and I thought that was the issue.

Similar elements but in no way comparable.
