Default Rejected as blurry....

Hi Guys

Haven't posted for a while - have been happy to lurk and learn on the forum.

But then I tried submitting this shot:

which was rejected as 'blurry' - a new one on me

OK, I recently went over to varifocal specs (old age approaching) and I have a new LCD monitor - both to which I am trying to accustom myself but I would like some peer review on this please.

Bear in mind the train in the background is passing at over 125mph so I would be surprised if it wasn't blurred but is this all the screener is referring to?

btw Is the subject worth pursuing?

Regards

andy

The signs are a little soft and could be sharpened.

The train is blurry, but not enough to make it a motion shot. I like the ...In Excess of 100 MPH. Maybe slow your shutter speed to make the train look like a 100 MPH train if you can go back?

Default rejected again

I tried sharpening things up but this time I got a 'poor esthetics' rejection - so maybe this idea isn't one for RPNet...

be interesting to know how many rejection categories there are - I may be heading for a full set with my submissions at the mo...
