I meant to add a shot of one of the original Metroliners at Monmouth Junction, NJ (just north of Princeton Junction, where all that fast-running took place that Mitch discussed). This was taken on April 25, 1971---just six days before Amtrak took over.

Yes, I realized that. However, I'd still be motivated to try a shot of a train coming the other direction with the blurred nose where I suggested. Like Ron, I find it to be a very interesting subject. Perhaps when I get my 14-year-old speeding ticket paid...

Are you sure it wasn't rejected because it was a shot of narrow gauge boxcars?

Is it too late to nominate that sign for a PCA?

Nope, not fixed. The glitch of not allowing you to vote a PCA on a linked photo still exists.

You don't get this message when you click on a linked photo and try to vote a PCA?

I get it sometimes, but not others. There doesn't seem to be any real rhyme or reason to when it shows up, as far as I can tell.

The only time that message shows up for me is when I click on a linked photo and then click on the link to vote it a PCA. The only time and every time. Doesn't happen any other way for me. It's just strange that they can't fix that. Or perhaps that "glitch" was by design.
