Color (hue) rejection

I brightened it just a little thinking maybe they thought it was underexposed but got the same rejection. http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...79&key=2460801

If it's all the golden brown grass, I don't know what could be done about that except maybe go black and white. I like the picture as is, if it can't get on RP that's okay.

I'd reduce green, reduce saturation, and brighten some.

That is mighty golden! Looks oversaturated. But I don't know the location or the state of the foliage. Looking at the lead engines, looks a bit oversaturated. If you have a whitepoint dropper of some sort, PS Elements has the ability to start with the white containers (which appear to have tinges of yellow) and change the white balance. Maybe your software can do that also.

I think it's just too yellow/saturated. Try adjusting the white balance and bringing down the saturation.

I backed the saturation off and tried to slide the green color balance a little using a very old version of photoshop, we'll see if that works, if not then flickr is a good spot anyway...

You should post your adjustments here before resubmitting, the extra eyes will be helpful to say if you are going in the right direction or not.
