Okay, now this idiot has gone too far. If I was there taking video of the 765 and heard this guy yelling and ruining my video of a steam engine, I might have shot him.

From what I understand the kid has Asperger's and Autism so while I do think the videos are hilarious and give railfans a bad name... I don't know what else to say. There are plenty of people who can drive a car with these conditions. BTW the word "retard or retarded" is horrible, My folks run an Adult Foster Care home and while they are now pushing 70 they still have 4 of the same women they have cared for and loved since I was 5 years old, I am now 34. These women are in their 50's and 60's with the mentality of 3 year olds, they are as much of my family as my 2 Brothers and they have an amazing capacity to love. Those terms really put it all in such a horrible light, they are Humans and deserve respect.

Beyond all that I know I have even had my own spontaneous moments of foamtasm before and I think we all have.

I haven't heard anything about Asperger's. I do know that the Andross51 kid does which is why I haven't said anything about him.

As for "retard and retarded" I didn't say that in a way to make fun of him. Actually I never made fun of him here. Complain about? Yeah. The word "retarded" is still a technical term and is only negative if you make it that way.

Having dealt with the developmentally disabled my whole life I can tell you that retarded is always a bad term when it come to someone's mental capacity. As for him being an attention whore, you have to remember that people like that deal with life differently from how a "normal" individual deals with them. Anyway the way I see it no one looks pissed and he isn't hurting anyone. Same for the guy in Florida although I think most of his stuff is intended to be tongue-in-cheek anyway.

My wife has a invisible disability, you ought to see the awful looks we get at the store using the scooters and handicapped spots, that stuff has mellowed me out and I would rather give someone the benefit of the doubt anymore.

Just to add, we all take pictures of trains for fun. That in and of itself is messed up oh and to rails each and every one of us is a foamer. There is no differing degrees of railfan to them. So, we all suck.
