Default Worth an Appeal

This worth an appeal? I have seen other photos with subjects working around locomotives on the site. The guys in the photo were watching the rails closely due to the poor condition of them.

The 1218 is only moved out only once a year if that often.

Thanks for any responses.

Without the "obstructions", you'd have a simple wedge (which sadly would get on without fuss). The rejection sends the wrong message - or maybe it's a wedge that is preferred by admin?

It's obvious a interesting story is being laid out and that you simply were not dealing with a few stragglers who wandered into the scene.

I'd appeal.

On a side note - beware of a high sun rejection, though considering the rarity of the event, it's worthy of inclusion. You might want to tone it down a bit?, maybe desaturate ever so slighting, as well.

Good luck!

While I agree with what Mitch is saying, do you have any othe frames with the guys in a different place? The "obstruction" shouldn't be an issue, but I'd like some seperation of the two guys and hopefully to see them out of the middle of the frame

No I don't have any with the guys in a different location. Because of the concern with the rails, the guys walked closely beside the 1218 the entire way in. It's ok though. I may can work with the crop on one of the others before this frame and get something good out of it. Even though it was a standard wedge I did get a successful shot of it sitting out in the open.

thanks again
