It has been six weeks since I've seen the KG1LA in the 10,000 foot long 3x2 locomotive configuration. It was passing through Grand Island around 6:30 pm. So I'm wondering if it is running at a different time, did UP split into two trains again, or what? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
Seems it's definitely been anywhere between 5500 and 7000ft heading through Vegas the past few weeks. Haven't been paying super close attention, though, so I don't know for certain if we've had any 'monsters' pass through over the course of the past month or so.

KG1LA and KLAG1 started running on the Sunset Route in mid-April. I haven't heard how long this is expected to last, or if it may be a permanent reroute.
