If we acknowledge that very few things
in life are free, $32.00 a year to help support
RP.Net is very reasonable indeed.

I signed up, received the papyal confirmation. What do I need to do to get the elite area?

Just received an email stating that my account was updated and is working now.

Thanks

I don't have a credit card.

Are you guys going to add the addt'l photo controls JP.net has for non-paying members?

Some of the features will be brought to RP.net but not all, some of them we feel would not be needed/used here as much as they are there.

You can pay with paypal which doesn't require a credit card.

Thanks.

I take it some of the things aren't up and running yet, as I don't see many new options available to me right now (but it's all wonderfully sans banners and popups).

A very reasonable price - looking forward to see what else comes in.

How exactly does paypal work without a credit card? Is it by money order or something? I definately have the $32.00, money is not an issue, it's the system of electronic transfer that poses a problem. So how do I get around that?

If you have a checking account and a Paypal account you can transfer money from your checking into paypal and then pay.

Actually, I would like an option where people viewing my pics don't see pop-ups.

You should have gotten the thumbnail in the forums as well, as well as access to the Elite lounge. Are you sure you entered your forum name properly?

I dont know, should it be "William Diehl" instead of "WilliamDiehl"? I'm confused about it.

Did I need to use the same username and password I use to log on to the main RailPictures.Net site in order to get RPElite benefits in the Forums? I registered with a different username in the Forums than I use for the main site. I do not see an Elite lounge (I may be looking in the wrong place).

I agree completely, considering for next year upgrade to Elite member.
