Default Showing a Yard

This view is facing south, so it is impossible to have the light fully cooperate:

What do people recommend?

well, the other photo cited in your reject has sun on the noses, so it must be possible.

From what I see on google, the window for this shot is coming now, late afternoon / before sunset around June 21. Reminds me that I have a few summer window shots to take in my area.

Aside from the lighting issues, your shot is frankly not very interesting to me. It makes a decent before and after shot with the one you linked, but for RP purposes, I think it lacks interest.

Google? You mean you don't use http://suncalc.net?

Actually, I do, a lot, and thanks to you for showing it to me! But I did my initial search on this one in Google and it told me all I needed to know. Call it habit, google is where I go for maps.

Funny, I used suncalc just today, actually in response to this thread, I reminded myself of the shots I want to do, and verified that we are now close enough to June 21 that i can start doing them. Finding time, alas, is another story.

I wish I could be in a dozen places on a clear morning on June 21st! Alas, I'll probably be working.

PE is great for the features it has, but for pure simplicity, sun-calc is very handy!
