Default I Tried, Mitch!

...to add another photo with a four-legged friend in it. Rejected! (But honestly, I kinda expected a rejection on this one. However, I'm not planning on telling Ellie - or Sparky, for that matter - that they were rejected for "poor esthetic quality").

Cute! Maybe Photoshop in a little snow and use it as the family Christmas card.

I think it is the posed look giving it the PEQ. Maybe if she was playing or petting the dog in a candid way vs looking at the camera? Unfortunately, I think the lack of light on them is going to keep it out of the DB regardless I would assume.

The main thing I notice is how dark the shadow area is. Perhaps a little Photoshop magic could help?

That was my thought also. Another thing, doggie's got a bit of "pinky" showing - might want to clone that out to improve "esthetic" quality. Just a thought...

This shot screams for some fill flash.
