This one got rejected for bad cropping:

Does anyone has any ideas for a better crop?

For what it's worth, I like the angle of the shot with the city in the background. Lots of lines to it which I dig. There isn't a whole ton of light on the right side of the engine, but I do like it. Maybe the gurus will have better insight.

I'm wondering if the screener hit the wrong key. I'm guessing you got dinged for the angle with all the darkness on the right and the obstruction it caused too. That's not to say it's a bad shot. I really like it... I like the way you included the city too.

It's OK, but the darkness on the right really kills it for me.

Not sure if it can be saved, but try cropping off the right, and maybe a bit off the bottom.

Thanks for the suggestions! I was able to get it accepted with a few cropping adjustments.

Really? Well let's have a link then! I was going to suggest that I found the cropping was a little loose on the right and bottom, but because of the shadows I would lighten it slightly and lessen the contrast a titch...maybe a little more sharpening, too. Let's see yours!
[EDIT] Or perhaps I could have just searched your name! For the curious, here it is.
