Good Ole' Bad Cropping

I had this shot rejected for bad cropping, but I'm not really seeing it. Is is because the train is too far to the left side of the image? Is there a way to fix it, or should I just try to redo it?

Very likely it is those tiny bits of things you didn't quite crop in the sky on the left side margin.

The engine and scene in general is a bit centered for RP. J's advice is good, though I do not think that is the reason.

Can you get more sky, a little less road to better follow the rule of thirds? Then loose the leaves - crop or not, I doubt it would an issue if those branch ends "disappeared".

Also give it about 0.7 degrees CCW rotation to bring verticals into plumb. That's what struck me first.

I don't know, because it looks acceptable to me. All the suggestions made so far are good ones, but together they shouldn't have cause you to get dinged, in my often honest opinion. The screener must have had his underwear in a tight wad or something like that.

I'd go with a vertical shot to include the silos and the train. Those cars seem like a distraction to me and seem to overpower the subject (the train and industry).
