More sky, it's too centered, maybe add a fuzz to the right too. Getting close to the edge.

lighten your shadows and lower your highlights also, maybe mess with the exposure a bit more than that. That white area of gravel seems strong, and the train seems a bit dark for the sun you had.

Definitely more sky and maybe a little sky on the bottom.

The right side is tight to keep out some construction barrels and other crap, earlier frame was accepted so I guess they wanted more smoke. Thanks guys

For me:
1. needs more room on the right. If something ugly is there, make it go away...
2. if it was me, I would remove some on the left, that road really does nothing for me, and it's awkwardly cut off. I would remove the whole road and some of the trees to tighten up the left
3. reduce brightness or levels on the ballast, it's blinding me...
4. add a tad more contrast
5. lower levels in the sky just a tad

This is definitely fixable and should get on...

I will never get tired of seeing these A&M Alco shots. Ever since I ventured down there three weeks ago I have been fascinated with their operation. Too bad it will come to an end with those hideous EMDs.
