We can all hope!

It's not so much the endless parade of poorly done, high down-angle drone shots that bother me. It's the shots that were clearly taken from altitudes that were above the 400 ft. limit, and especially ones in which the drone was obviously being flown in IMC, or at night, neither of which are legal operations.

(IMC = Instrument Meteorological Conditions.....hopefully, most drone pilots didn't need me to define that term for them.)

I think it's a great idea. If by chance there's a reduction in poor photography, that would pretty sweet too.

And of course this will limit the folks who know how to use these things safely and the ones who know how to take a decent photo with one.

If someone is not following the rules then are they really using it safely?

I have no issue if they want to track my drone as I make a massive 3 minute long flight to 60' AGL for my shots.
