Talk about ugly!
Check this new GG20B for BNSF.

It would look cool with the normal cab but this cab is just creapy,I like the "swoosh" logo though.

It certainly looks that way. It's got an interesting look to it...sort of like a clown car on rails.

The swoosh would look better in the centre...

Yeah, that thing certainly lacks aesthetics that we're all used to. And why the heck did they need to build that cab-ette? It looks ridiculous.
Oh well...

nerer mind, i found a picture of it, it looks very wierd but i guess the idea behind switching units is function not looks. But i still would have left the 1/2 cab out of the design.
Heres another link for people not subscribed to trains.

i didn't know what you guys were talking about untill the website finally loaded (dial-up). but now that i see what that thing looks like, they look like total crap, why the heck did BNSF order them without cabs, and why is part of the cab still there? that makes it look ten times worse!

These units will be operated via remote control so the operator will only occasionally be riding the unit. The cab contains various control equipment. Shippers and shareholders aren't interested in esthetics.
