Sunset Crossing Shot - Uninteresting?

Got a PEQ rejection. Ive seen similar shots to it. Any hints, suggestions? Or is it just a personal photo album shot?

I think you need to get lower to shoot more upward for that type of shot. That would make the signals stand out more against the sky as well as reduce much of the background, which both signal units seem to be disappearing into.

I like the close-up feel of the shot, and for your personal collection, I would keep it as is.

For RP's purposes, though, I think you could maybe shoot wider, in addition to what Jim has said already...

Thanks for your inputs folks. I'll keep it as my desktop background haha. Being away from home, I cant reshoot this shot, but I'll see what I can do here in TB....

The way you have the image composed, I think I would personally focus on either the signal or crossing flasher set, but not both. Too much to look at and I think both subjects are awkwardly placed in the composition.
