Default Yes its dark...

Its foggy, I thought this fit the criteria for fog shots but twice rejected even after brightening the image. Personally I really like the atmosphere of the shot but wanted to get some opinions, I'm not going to brighten it anymore, that wouldn't be true to how the scene actually looked, I'll just leave it for failbook or whatever else.

Great shot. Just crank it until they give you a cloudy rejection.

Try lightning it without making the sky and such blown out. Maybe a hair of lighten shadows?

Working the levels makes a big difference. Seems flat but with a little work you can get it to pop while still looking authentic. Keep at it, good luck!

Love the shot, agree with Anthony on levels and minor shadow/highlights, I probably sharpened too much, working with the original will give better results.

Looks like it needs a bit more contrast and maybe a slight saturation boost.

Well no nay votes, I'll play with it a little. Your edit looks good Mark, ill do something along those lines, cant up the contrast too much without the fog turning white.
