One could also say its rude to start a thread complaining about the screeners inconsistently any and ever time someone gets a rejection, when in reality the picture wasn't that good in the first place... miniature steam trains comes to mind

I think this statement is invalid. I really don't think you know how many shots are rejected of mine or anyone elses. Probably a helluva lot more than threads here questioning a rejection. Why not question a rejection, how else do you learn?

For some reason you seem to be making this personal instead of being objective and your personal opinion doesn't matter.

Dave,

You're contradicting yourself all over this thread.

Comapring and contrasting. Say what you want, but I read the "at least mine" part as you putting more value on your shot than on the accepted one. You've been on these forums long enough to know that anytime, anytime, you use somebody else's work to compare and contrast, you're gonna catch flak, especially over a rejection reason like Bad Motive. You know the motive rejection comes down to the screener's taste. If you think you're being 'wronged,' let your photo stand on it's own.

Well what other kinds of opinions are you looking for other than people's personal opinions? You asked for people's opinions, so you take the bad with the good...

Ween you're right. Everyone can have a weird day. I think I got enough of what i was trying to get across, well across. But fortunately or unfortunately everything is subjective. With that I still like seeing comments, reactions, advice, etc.
