Worth an Appeal?

For what it's worth, I always leave a note when screening (rejecting) appeals, except in two cases:

1. When there's nothing else to be added. If a shot is rejected for backlit, the photographer appeals and the sun is shining straight into the lens, for example, then no, I'm not going to add anything.

I like getting appeals rejected with a reason, except when I know they're crap.
